TELEVISION AND HEALTH – THE USE OF ENERGY (NATURAL RHYTHM)

Activity and work produce a natural tiredness which should not be resisted but given in to. We do this by taking a break or going to bed to obtain the necessary rest.

This natural rhythm refreshes, letting the preceding exercise of the muscles serve to strengthen the body. However, if the strain and effort are not followed by the necessary rest, the consequence will be exhaustion, causing the opposite to happen, because constant overexertion damages the cellular system and thus the whole body. It is important to avoid exhaustion in our daily life as well as in sport and exercise. Those who ignore this advice will often have to reckon with permanent damage that may be far greater then they imagine or would like to be true.
