LIMEWOOD CHARCOAL POWDER; CORN (MAIZE) AND MILLET PORRIDGE

Those who suffer from gastric acidity, problems with the stomach and intestinal mucous membranes, or the consequences of protrac- 10 ted jaundice, should definitely take charcoal powder, preferably from limewood. You can make it yourself by grinding pieces of limewood charcoal. Take this powder in a little milk and, although milk on its own is not always suitable for patients with liver trouble or protracted jaundice, in combination with limewood charcoal powder it is very effective.

An excellent poultice for rheumatic and some arthritic pains can be made with corn (maize) or millet porridge. If you want to increase the circulation, producing hyperaemia, these poultices are most suitable since they remain hot for quite a while.

Prepare the porridge in the usual way, but without adding anything, and apply as hot as you can bear it.
